Retail Return Policy

At Light & Motion, we understand that mistakes happen and people change their minds about their purchases.

Items in original, unused condition, including all packaging and accessories, may be returned for exchange, credit or refund up to 30 days after purchase, upon our verification of purchase.

Items purchased outside of Light & Motion, must be returned to the point of purchase.

To make it easier and faster for you, our Customer Service Department requests that you contact them first, before returning the item to us, as they can often solve the problem quickly and easily over the phone and you may not have to go through the process of returning it.

 Obtain a Return Product Memo

Our return service provides two methods to obtain a Return Authorization prior to sending your return.

  1.  Please call us at 831-645-1525 and our knowledgeable, friendly staff will be happy to assist you. Our hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Pacific Time.
  2. Use our online support ticket system (http://www.lightandmotion.com/bike/support/).

To allow Light & Motion’s Receiving Department to recognize and receive your return in a timely manner, we would appreciate that the Return Authorization number be displayed visibly on the outside of the shipping package.

 Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original purchase.

Damaged Merchandise

In the event goods are received damaged, please file a proper claim with the transportation company involved. In all cases of damage, you must keep all packing cartons and internal packaging for inspection by the transportation company. Light & Motion will be happy to assist you with expediting your claim with the transportation company.

Please Review the Guidelines Below:
Please call Customer Service at 831-625-1525 before returning your items.
Light & Motion will not pay for return shipping charges unless the return is due to our error in your order. We will replace defective units and exchange for the same model and style only.
Items must be returned in new and original condition.

Include all original accessories and (if available) the original box.
Pack the merchandise securely to prevent damage.
Write the Return Product Memo visibly on the outside of the shipping package. For your protection, please insure the package for its full value.

Items in original, unused condition, including all packaging and accessories, may be returned for exchange, credit or refund to Light and Motion, upon our verification of purchase.

We will gladly accept merchandise for exchange, return and credit within 30 days of receipt if you are not completely satisfied. Product must be in new re-sellable condition to receive full credit. Product purchased outside of Light & Motion must be returned to the point of purchase.

To receive prompt returns processing, please do not send product directly to Light and Motion without obtaining a Return Authorization. A copy of the invoice and reason for the return must accompany the return.
