Sola - Removing switch assembly and opening purge valve

If the product is outside of the 2-year warranty, we advise that you contact the customer service team to receive troubleshooting tips and detailed instructions to disassemble the product any further than removing the switch assembly.

If the switch is not sliding smoothly or will not turn into lock position then you may remove it to examine for sand buildup and corrosion. We do not recommend removing the purge valve (older models, pre-2016), but it will be necessary to expose this part of the light when dealing with a dirty switch assembly that has a significant amount of particulate and salt buildup.
