Why doesn't my Taz have the flash mode?

As of March 2016 the flash mode will no longer be incorporated in the Taz lights.

We are slowly phasing out the Flashing Modes of our lights. The pulsing is meant to alert drivers that you are there without causing them to "fixate" on the light. Flashing is generally reserved for emergency vehicles and is illegal in Europe. We are migrating our products to harmonize with general legislative trends we see occurring.

By creating a consistent source of light that pulses it is easier for you, the rider, to see and at the same time alerts others around you that you are on your bike.

In addition, the pulse mode is well established for daytime motorcycle lights. As our lights increase in power, the pulse mode delivers an equally visible appearance while being a bit more friendly and consistent with other 2 wheeled vehicles.
