Effective Notice Regarding Bike Line Warranty Policy:Due to the discontinuation of Light &amp; Motion&apos;s bike product line, we regret to inform you that we are no longer able to process returns, exchanges, or warranty claims for any bike items. This includes both express warranties and any services related to repair, replacement, or product upgrades previously provided under our warranty policy. Below, we have outlined the revised terms reflecting this change.&#xA0;Light &amp; Motion Warranty OverviewLight &amp; Motion products, known for their durability, have historically been backed by our warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase for lights, and a one-year limited warranty for consumables such as batteries.However,&#xA0;due to the discontinuation of our bike line, we are no longer able to provide warranty services for bike lights or bike-related products. This change applies to any remaining warranty period for products within this category.&#xA0;Battery WarrantyFor consumables such as batteries, we previously offered a one-year limited warranty, ensuring up to 80% of original battery capacity at 350 charge cycles. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide battery replacement or upgrade services for bike-related products. However, warranty services for batteries used in other non-bike Light &amp; Motion products remain unchanged and will continue to follow our original policy.&#xA0;Scope of Warranty, Repair, and Replacement ServicesWe are no longer able to repair or replace any bike-related products, including lights or components. As a result, the previously available repair and replacement services for bike lights have been discontinued.Please note that our general warranty policy for other Light &amp; Motion products continues to apply as follows:<ul><li>Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, abuse, or product degradation.</li><li>Replacement of non-bike lights will be made with components of the same value, subject to availability.</li></ul>&#xA0;Impact on Existing Warranties for Bike ProductsIf you have purchased a Light &amp; Motion bike product in the past and your warranty period is still active,&#xA0;we regret to inform you that we can no longer offer warranty services. This decision is final and applies to all remaining bike-related warranties, regardless of purchase date.&#xA0;Limitation of Liability and Exclusion of LiabilityLight &amp; Motion&#x2019;s liability for bike-related products is limited to the original purchase price. Should your light be out of warranty, our commitment to you is to provide a repair service for as long as reasonably possible. It may not be possible to repair some of the older light systems because some parts may have become obsolete and unattainable. In some cases we may offer to upgrade your older light to a newer model at a discount but this depends on several factors and is done at Light &amp; Motion&#x2019;s discretion.&#xA0;Battery Cell Performance, Care and Warranty:Thank you for investing in our lighting systems. &#xA0;Caring for your battery is important to maximize your system&#x2019;s life. All lithium-ion batteries have a lifespan and performance will naturally degrade over time despite how much or how little use they undergo. With proper battery care a Light &amp; Motion lighting system can last for many years. &#xA0;Battery performance is affected by charging cycles, below freezing temperature, excessive heat, and storage conditions. &#xA0;Your battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 350 complete charge cycles.&#xA0; To maximize your battery&#x2019;s life we highly recommend:<ul><li>Fully charging your battery prior to first use.</li><li>Apply a full charge to your battery before storing it.&#xA0;</li><li>As your battery will slowly discharge during storage, to avoid a deep-discharge state, recharge the unit every 2-3 months. (A deeply discharged battery may not be recoverable and is not covered by the one-year limited warranty.</li></ul>Light Output:Light &amp; Motion lights are tested and certified in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL-1 Standard within a performance range of plus or minus 10%. &#xA0;As an industry leader, our performance testing data is published on wetestlights.com. &#xA0;&#xA0;The following circumstances are excluded from this warranty:<ul><li>Impact that causes damage to battery cells, circuits or seals.&#xA0;</li><li>Lost parts and &#x201C;consumable wear parts.&#x201D;</li><li>Cosmetic discoloration from normal wear and use.</li><li>Product damage from misuse.</li><li>If the light is tampered with or modified from its original design.</li><li>Inappropriate use or transport or neglectful maintenance, operation or upkeep.&#xA0;</li><li>Damage due to unsuitable cleaning agents or devices such as high-pressure cleaners.</li><li>Non-Light &amp; Motion branded product, parts or components.
